Dr. Bonnie Ammerman Terll
is a resident of Siler City and has been in practice since 1992. She attended North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Terll's interests include small animal internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Rachel Davis is a 2001 graduate of North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the practice in June of 2001. Her interests include internal medicine and behavior. Dr. Patricia Pagel is a graduate of Maryland-Virginia Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She is the owner of Cole Park Veterinary Hospital in Chapel Hill and currently works there full time. She is half owner of Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Terll. --> |

| Full payment is expected at the time of services. We accept cash, checks, Care Credit, and all major credit cards. A deposit will be required for hospitalized animals. Estimates are available for all services prior to treatment. Please feel free to discuss charges before treatment is undertaken. |

| Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital's emergency services at night and on weekends are provided by NCSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital Small Animal Emergency Service at 919-513-6911 or http://www.cvm.ncsu.edu/vth/vthsupportsaaes.htm). We believe our patients should receive the highest quality emergency care. NCSU-VTH Emergency Service is able to provide this with their 24-hour emergency/critical care service with referral to specialists on an as needed basis. Please call them before transporting your pet so that they can prepare for your arrival. |
Surgical Procedures |

Surgical procedures and dental procedures at
Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital
are performed with our patients' safety and comfort foremost in mind.
Prior to surgery, patients are evaluated to identify any
risk factors.
Pre-surgical bloodwork is recommended, particularly for animals over
7 years of age.
Pain medication is administered before and after surgery.
During surgery and anethesia our patients receive constant cardiac monitoring and intravenous fluid replacement therapy.
A heated surgery table and heated recovery cages are used to minimize loss of body heat.
Trained staff are present at all times to monitor anesthesia, and most animals are sent home with pain medication to be given during the post-operative recovery period.
Surgical patients should be admitted to the hospital between 7:30 and 8:15 a.m. Food should be withheld after 10 p.m. the night before surgery. Overnight hospitalization is recommended after most surgeries. |
Preventive Health Care |
| At Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital, vaccinations and routine health care are provided at reasonable cost and tailored to your animal's needs. As professional guidelines change we will keep you informed as to the best recommendations for your pet. Yearly physical exams and consultations are encouraged to ensure the continued health of your pet and to keep you informed about changes which may impact you and your pet. |

Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital
is a full-service veterinary hospital.
We provide complete medical, dental, and surgical services as well as ancillary services such as grooming and boarding.
Doctors' hours are by appointment
A small retail area is provided which is stocked with premium pet food and health care supplies. We currently maintain a regular stock of Science Diet, Innova, and California Natural diets. We will be happy to special order any item which does not appear on our shelves. Please check with the reception staff for assistance. |

Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital
Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital is a 3,500 square foot facility.
We have 3 exam rooms, a full pharmacy/lab area and treatment area, an isolation ward and intensive care unit, and a complete surgery suite.
We also have a boarding kennel with separate areas for dogs and cats.
Our grooming parlor is used for baths and dips and other grooming services.
A professional groomer is available one day a week.
Tours of our facility may be arranged with the office manager or reception staff.

Philosophy |
| Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital was conceived by two area veterinarians who saw a need for progressive compassionate veterinary care in the Pittsboro area. The practice is dedicated to courteous service and up-to-date medical practice. The doctors work closely with area referral centers for cases requiring consultation with specialists. The doctors and staff share a great affection for animals and their owners and are committed to excellent service in a pleasant atmosphere. |
Boarding |
| Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital's boarding facilities are clean, and spacious with separate areas for dogs and cats. Our staff takes pride in being attentive to the details of your animal's behavior, and a doctor will be consulted if there is a problem. If you would like to see the kennel/exercise area please feel free to ask a staff member. Special requests regarding your animal's care may be made to the kennel technician. Animals who are boarding with us must be up to date on their vaccinations and free of parasites. |
Grooming |
| Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital We are pleased to offer basic grooming services (baths, dips, comb-out) on a full-time basis. We also have a professional groomer available, generally one day a week. Please call for an appointment. |
